Chief Executive of SAMIAN to speak at IET Seminar
October 2007
Ian Lewis, the Chief Executive of SAMIAN Underwriting Agencies Limited, the provider of market leading intangible asset insurance solutions, will be giving a talk on "Managing Risk" at the prestigious Institution of Engineering and Technology's (IET) "Maximising The Benefits Of Intellectual Property Rights" Seminar later this month.
The IET is one of the world's leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community, with more than 150,000 members spread across 127 countries. They aim to provide a global network to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas, and promote the positive role of science, engineering and technology.
The Seminar is the only engineering-focused Intellectual Property event in the UK and is intended to enable attendees to learn about the technicalities of IP rights, establish key points of appropriate use and action, as well as learning to budget IP matters.
Ian Lewis is delighted to be invited back by the Institute to talk about IP risk management and mitigation from an insurers viewpoint, as well as exploring some of the risk transfer solutions available in the current marketplace.
The seminar takes place at Savoy Place, London, on 24 October. For further information, and to reserve places, please contact the Institute of Engineering and Technology on +44(0) 1438 765659 or visit www.theiet.org/ip
