SAMIAN Underwriting Agencies Limited launches at BIBA.

SAMIAN Underwriting Agencies, the specialist Managing General Agency focusing exclusively on providing Intangible Asset Insurance, launched its products to the UK broker market at the BIBA 2007 on 23rd May. BIBA is the UK’s largest exhibition for general insurance and BIBA have confirmed that 2007 was the most successful and well-attended exhibition in their history.
SAMIAN viewed this as the ideal opportunity to launch their innovative range of products onto the UK broker market. Ian Lewis, SAMIAN’s Chief Executive, stated that “We aim to be the leading provider of Intangible Asset Insurance and it was fitting that we launched at the largest, most successful conference ever held. With our innovative range of unique and exclusive products we believe that we are best placed to offer clients risk transfer solutions for a whole range of intangible asset exposures and associated financial risks.â€

As part of the UK launch SAMIAN’s website also went live, where details of products for North American markets are also displayed, although not officially launched.
BIBA 2007 was held at the ExCel London conference and exhibition centre for the first time in over ten years, and the vast majority of businesses within the insurance industry were represented. BIBA has confirmed that 2007 was the most successful ever held with 3,284 attendees, representing a 60% increase on the 2006 conference.
